Couples Therapy

It’s time to reconnect

Gain trust in one another and learn to resolve conflicts

When we are in a relationship life does not slow down- it continues to throw hurdles our way. So we might find the day to day responsibilities get in the way of romance and connection. Frustrations have a way of breaking down love so it’s best to get the support you need now to improve your relationship.

Common questions couples seek support with answering:

  • How do we get past a breakdown in trust?

  • Are we compatible enough to stay together?

  • Is it possible to solve problems from the past?

  • When will we be able to talk without verbal fighting?

The couples I see share that they are tired of feeling stuck having the same arguments, exhausted from talking about the past and unsure of how to rebuild the fun energy their relationship had. Couples therapy is a space for both partners to feel heard and learn to build a relationship you love.

Relationships can be incredibly hard- whoever we are close with will end up pushing our buttons (even when they aren’t trying to). No two people will agree on everything, and these differences can cause all types of problems. By now you have probably noticed you can’t change your partner. The point of couples therapy isn’t to change who we are- it is to gain the skills to navigate issues with the person we love.

If we are always trying to control the other person- or blame them- we wont get very far. Let’s shift the same conflicts you have had over and over again. Part of my magic is helping couples get to a point of mutual respect, love and having fun together.

You have so much love for each other- but now it feels like you have drifted apart

You are both exhausted from too many fights and frustrations

What we won’t do in couples therapy:

Play the blame game, tolerate violence, gang up on one person, get stuck in the past

What we will make space for:

Mutual understanding, healthy ways to resolve conflict, rebuilding loving connection
